2012 Fall Registration

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to another great dancing year at Jeanne's School of Dance in Chandler!  We are starting the year off with a registration week to register for Fall classes!  Come down to the studio on one of the following days to fill out registration packets, purchase dance wear/shoes, and ask teachers any questions you may have:

Tuesday, July 31st from 5-7 pm
Thursday, August 2nd from 5-7 pm
Saturday, August 4th from 9am-12 noon

Also we will be starting our Movie Nights at Jeanne's School of Dance and our Technique Workshops in September 2012 so get ready for many new and wonderful activities this dance year!  We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Chandler Summer Schedule 2012

Our Summer Dance Classes begin June 5th and will run the whole month of June!  If you haven't already registered for classes come down to the studio on June 5th to sign up!

Great Show!

Just want to congratulate all the dancers, parents, teachers and staff on another great show!  It is always wonderful to see how everything comes together!  On behalf of all the teachers and staff at Jeanne's, we want to thank the dancers for all their hard work this year.  Everyone has make great improvements and accomplished so much.  We also want to thank the parents for being so supportive, helpful and for having such great kids!  We love all of our dancers and are so proud of them!  Great job everyone!

Just as a quick reminder, pictures are this Wednesday and Thursday at Leasure's Photography Studio.

Also, this Saturday, May 26th is our first every Registration Day at the studio from 9am - 12pm.  Come and sign up for summer classes, Dance Camp and fall classes!  We will have new dance wear, shoes and other dance accessories for sale!  You won't want to miss it!  See you Saturday morning!

Just wanted to post some reminders for this weekend!  Here's the breakdown for the big day!

TONIGHT Friday, May 18th from 5-8 pm
Company Show Run through:  You DO NOT NEED COSTUMES for this run through.  We will practice all company dances from 5-6:30 pm and then break for dinner at 6:30 pm.  Make sure your dancer has something to eat!  From 7-8 pm we will run the company dances in show order!

TOMORROW Saturday May19th 9am-1pm at Dobson High School
Dress Rehearsal: Bring ALL COSTUMES!  Please make sure to have labeled all parts and pieces of your dancers' costumes as well as their shoes!  We will start promptly at 9am so please be there early to be in costume ready to dance onstage at 9am!  If you signed up to get your hair done, that will be done during dress rehearsal.  Please be patient as we rotate everyone through to get their hair done.  We will do it as efficiently as possible!

TOMORROW Saturday May 19th 5:30 pm at Dobson High School
"World of Dance" Recital:  Please have your dancer backstage ready to dance (hair, makeup, costumes done) by 5:30 pm.  The auditorium doors will open at 5:30 pm and the show will start at 6 pm.  We look forward to a great show!  Thanks in advance for all you do to make this possible!

2012 Recital Company Costume Information

Here are a few notes about costumes and accessories for the recital:

• All dancers should wear a nude leotard under their costumes, especially if they have costume changes.  
• If you don’t have the correct pieces of jewelry (i.e. earrings, barrettes or choker) then you need to see Miss Kisha ASAP to make sure you get what you need.
• Company hair this year will be parted on the right with either a french braid across the front or a braided piece across the front into a low bun in the back.  Bangs should either be slicked back or put in the braid.  If you have any questions please ask one of the Company Teachers.

Here is a breakdown of the costumes and accessories for the recital.  Please find which classes your dancer is in and all of the information you should need is listed.  If you have any questions regarding what your dancer should or should not be wearing for the recital please ask your dancers’ teacher.  Also, just another reminder that we will be wearing costumes during Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, May 19th at Dobson High School at 9 am so please come prepared!  Thanks!
